Local Dining

A pint at the local, fresh bread on a Saturday morning, and a short drive to Rosewood, Marburg or Ipswich when you want a bigger menu.

Walloon is a small town, but you won’t go hungry. The Walloon Saloon is our traditional country pub, and there are excellent bakeries, cafés and restaurants a short drive away in Rosewood, Marburg and Ipswich. Walloon Saloon

The town's traditional country pub — the Walloon Saloon is exactly what you want from a small-town Queensland watering hole. A cold beer, a generous schnitzel, Sunday lunches with the family, and a warm welcome for a traveller who's wandered in from the park. After a morning at the Henry Lawson Bicentennial Park, this is where locals go to finish the day.
